Biosorbe AB develops a bio-based absorbent (biosorbent) that absorbs oil and at the same time repels water. The absorbent’s unique properties make it possible to clean up oil on land and in water in an environmentally friendly way. The technology was developed in Sweden and the company has a newly started factory in Rottneros where the production of the biosorbent takes place. Biosorbe is a company with several development projects and application areas in sight.
about the job

The work is located in Karlstad and mostly involves responsibility for running the company’s development laboratory and setting up and carrying out laboratory tests within the company’s development project. You will also work with product development at laboratory level. A certain part of the work will include establishing routines around quality controls at the company’s production facility. The development projects mean that everyday life will be varied and demand initiative. You are part of the development team in close collaboration with the development manager. Job duties

Plan and carry out laboratory tests in paper and pulp technology
Mass analyses
Manage, document and evaluate analysis results
Establish routines and instructions regarding lab tests, analyzes and documentation

Your profile

Master in paper and pulp technology
Solid experience from analysis work in pulp technology
We would like to see you work with development within the paper and pulp industry
Very good ability to work independently and initiative
Good communication and collaboration skills
Experience in preparing and writing reports, instructions and the like
