As a sheeted material, the Biosorbe Advance Fibers can be used as a raw material in processes such as airlaid, to produce cellulosic material with unique properties.
Provides hydrophobic properties to products in the form of responsibly
Can be used instead of fossile based fibers in several applications
Easy to incorporate in new as well as traditional production lines
Tunable fiber properties to optimize production and product characteristics
The Biosorbe sheets are produced to be further processed into sustainable biobased products with unique properties.
The modified fibers can replace fossil raw materials, resulting in a more sustainable end product both regarding release of greenhouse gas emissions and microplastics. They can also replace standard wood pulp as raw material and add important properties to the end product.
The Biosorbe fibers has shown great hydrophobic properties and high absorption when used in airlaid production of absorbent products. By hotpressing the Biosorbe fibers, molded fiber products with hydrophobic properties have been achieved as well. Depending on application, the Biosorbe fibers can be tuned to provide desirable characteristics.
