Biosorbe has developed green and effective solutions based on cellulose and microorganisms to clean water and air. The first applications, which are a result of research at KTH, are cleaning up oil spills in industry, water treatment and the transport industry, among others.

The unique bio-based material developed by the company also creates opportunities in the long term within, among other things, the construction industry. Thanks to the Paper Province cluster, two years ago Biosorbe got in touch with Rottneros Bruk in Sunne, where we chose to build our pilot plant. Decisive factors were the proximity to the forest and the expertise and infrastructure that Värmland and Rottneros Bruk offer. With the new production facility, the products can now be launched on an industrial scale.
