Yesterday morning, authorities responded to a suspected hazardous discharge into the Göta älv in the Gothenburg area, stretching from Fiskhamnen past the Älvsborg Bridge. The substance is believed to be a type of oil, though its exact nature and volume remain unknown.
Responders have deployed Biosorbe booms to contain the discharge, and facilitate further recovery.
