Biosorbe has developed green and effective solutions based on cellulose to clean water and air. Their first applications, which are a result of research at KTH, are the cleanup of oil spills in industry, water treatment and the transport industry, among others.

The unique bio-based material they have developed also creates opportunities in the long term within, among other things, the construction industry. Ekman & Co AB (“Ekman”) is a trading house since 1802 with its roots right here in Värmland. Ekman is today a global company with offices in 40 countries and is represented in over 100 countries. The company has a turnover of SEK 20 billion and the focus is on forest industry products such as pulp, cardboard, paper and recycled materials.
